Well we can agree on one thing

I know many people define Fundamentalist differently, just as many people define Christian differently. Given the definitions stated in the original thread I consider myself to be of the second category and to have a slight affiliation with the first. I am most definitely a Christian, but as to the absolute moral authority of the Bible- that's yet to be determined.

We can agree on one thing. It does make sense to only have one absolute moral authority in your life. And as a Christians that authority would of course come from God. Yet you have skirted right around the issue at hand which is WHY do you believe the Bible to be that authority? The only support you've given is internal support, from a paraphrase. Why do you believe this book is God's direct will and flawless transmission? Simply because you've been told so? Or because "it's worked for me"? I'm looking for some real reasoning for why you believe what you believe :)

Dive deep, seek peace, love forever,
