Watcher, I have been reading your verbal jousting with Splash with interest. Your choice of adjectives has been significant. Obviously, you feel very strongly about your point of view or you wouldn't use such inflammatory words. Is it because you actually believe that or is it that you are just trying to get a rise out of someone with your ranting?

"I just don't care about the artificial, hateful, evil, destructive morality your religion has used to devestate human kind for so many centuries."

-Artificial? What do you mean?
-How is Christian morality hateful?
-And evil? Are you trying to say that the source of evil in this world is Christianity? Was there no evil in the world before ChristianityMaybe you need to tell me your definition of evil.
-And how is Christian morality destructive? Just because it limits sexual intimacy (I'm assuming this is what you're talking about) to a married man and woman? How is that destructive?

"Christianity is WRACKED with sexual guilt. That religion has destroyed so many lives with its judgemental, self righteous prudery."

Wracked with sexual guilt? Guilt over what? Have lives been destroyed over the centuries in the name of Christianity? Yes. Have lives been destroyed over the centuries in the name of Islam, or other religions? Absolutely. So what is the answer? Do away with all religion? I think they tried that with communism. The result? Millions and millions of lives destroyed. The problem is not in the institution, but evil in the hearts of men. Can evil be done in the name of good? Obviously. But to blame all Christians for the acts of some is both unfair and inaccurate.

"And today, it's STILL Christians who hold us back and try to keep uus bound to completely artificial sexual taboos. Watching political programs it's terribly easy to watch Chrisitan commentators and leaders practically froth at the mouth in a self righteous attempt to force their superstitions on the rest of us."

What "artificial sexual taboos"? And what "superstitions"?

Watcher, are you just venting? Is it not obvious to you that the Gay Lib movement is just as, if not more, aggressive in pushing its agenda? Are they not trying to "cram their beliefs down the throats" of the rest of America? To say that there is a battle going on to undermine the American family is an understatement.
