This is about real issues and real people who's lives are damaged because religious assholes like you think it's OK to treat them as second class citizens. Fuck you. Fuck your god. Fuck your religion, you superstitious, arrogant prick. BTW, in at least two posts I've stated that HUMAN BEINGS, organizing them selves politically decide on rights and privilages. I think it's just common sense. Rights in the U.S. are granted jointly by the COngress and the courts. Do I have to explain how the system works? The process is heavily influenced by organized groups of Chrisitans who lobby to have their particular moral views legislated. Even though it doesn't harm them at all (unless you buy Forgiven's incredibly bizaree and I must say unbelievably moronic theory that some god will harm the U.S. because of homosexuals), these groups try to stop queers from having basic rights - the same rights as anyone else in the country. I ask again a question you have so far refused to answer. WHY? Why fuck with other people? If you have certain moral views, why not just follow them? Why organize to enforce your own beliefs on other people? IF you don't want to have the right to inherit your apartment from your lover, then you don't have to. Why stop me? If you don't want to be able to visit your sick lover in the hospital, nobody will twist your arm. Why stop me? If you don't want the right to be employed regardless of your sexual orientation, fine. Don't apply for jobs where you think you shouldn't work. Why stop me? Because a lot of you Christians are hateful assholes, is quite honestly the only answer that even begins to make sense. |
