You have led a perfect life? You have never done anything to harm another, or anothers feelings? You have never refrained from doing something you should have done? Forgiveness encompasses all of the things we have done wrong, it is not just about what we may have done sexually. personally I do not think that homosexuality is a sin, anymore than eating a ham and cheese sandwich is a sin, or wearing a cotton/polyester blend shirt is a sin (all are banned by Liviticus). Yet i know that I have not led a perfect life, and therefore I am thankful that I am forgiven. Actually I could make a case that homosexuality is sanctioned by Christ. After all he told us to love our neighbors as we love oursevles. I make love to myself by giving myself a hand job, so shouldn't I give one to my neighbor too, if he wants one? |
