Dear Jiggles, I don't think that it is possible for the posters at CBF to answer why the Christian posters at BC do not post here much, anything we can offer is mere speculation. I don't post on BC because it goes way too fast for me to keep up with, so perhaps some Christian BCers don't post here on CBF because it goes way too slow for them. A 'Christian' is a follower of Christ and by definition, therefore, Christianity is an 'exclusive club' - it is for those who follow Christ, not merely profess belief in Him. Nor is it a club for those who don't believe in Christ at all, non-Christians often view Christianity as an 'exclusive club'. The good news, however, is that membership is free if those on the outside would simply ask, seek and knock. You stated that one cannot question whether another person is a Christian and I would state that one needs to do this to avoid following after false teachers. Harsh condemnation and a moral free-for-all are two extremes of bad fruit that would cause me to question such a person's confession of Jesus as Lord. One who is condemnatory has not come face to face with their own sin and need of salvation, and one who belives that a Christian can live however they please has not come face to face with Jesus' agony on the cross being a direct result of their own sin. With that said, I myself feel somewhat alone on this board in that I'm one of the few outspoken defenders of homosexuality and BL being compatible with the Christian life, but I have never encountered condemnation for it - so I cannot see this as a reason why a BCer Christian would not post here. Back in the days when I posted on BC (1997-98) I felt very much alone sometimes because I was one of very few outspoken and exclusive BL's (attraction only to prepubescent boys). I hope I have addressed some of the concerns you have raised between BC and CBF posters who are Christians.
