How do they hear without a preacher

it comes down to what you mean by 'condemn'. As the post indicates, I'm not in a hurry to ram a belief down someone's throat, I'm committed to seeing God bring conviction. But to do that the message must first be heard - in a clear, unambiguous way that people can cope with without instinctively rejecting. Which is hard work when there are 'Christians' out there who like to make themselves feel better by dumping on the Gay community - let alone peds.....

One of the images for Christians in the New Testament is that of being an ambassador - back in a time when ambassadors were the only means of communication between rulers, there being no phones etc. One of the features of an ambassador's duty is to report honestly the views of the ruler whom he represents. His aim is to achieve the best possible reception without distorting the message. Beyond that, he is 'only' the messenger.

I don't know if that helps, but it helped me think more clearly about it!!
