It is the underpinning of Hinduism and Buddhism..

But, I feel, at least, that it's the underpinning of Christian mysticism as well..

Have you read, (or if not, I wonder if it might available some where online,) perchance, the Nag Hamadhi texts?

I think I have the spelling right

It's the oldest version of the New Testament yet found

The phrasing of a good many of the gospels are a wee bit different than the rendering that came down to us through the King James version

Not drastically different, mind you, but subtly so...

Subtle, yet enough of a difference that those who've read and studied the texts have come to an almost unanimous conclusion regarding them

Jesus was talkin' Buddhism

So much so that many have speculated whether the missing years of his life might have been spent studying in the East...

Buddhism may be a closer rendering of what Jesus actually said than you think it is (:

Check 'em out!

I may have the spelling wrong...if the search engine doesn't turn up anything under "nag hamadhi texts", try entering "Christian mysticism" and see what ya get

Thanks to GCF turning me on to him, I can also say with great confidence that the writings of Meister Eckhart are very close to what I'm talking about in the post above..

much love and more later!
John
