Hi Forgiven, I think that you are saying that the requirement for marriage to be based on love is wrong. Am I misreading you on this? Today's statistics would sure support this. However, as Christians we are called to live our lives God's way, not our own. Biblically, marriage is all about the two becoming one and the man loving his wife. If only more Americans would be willing to see this, so many marriages would either never have happened (that shouldn't have) or would be saved which otherwise broke up. Again, I'm not sure if you were agreeing or disagreeing here. But here is some biblical support. You are not alone.
