If those passages don't mean what they actually say, then EXPLAIN what they mean. You seemed to indicate it was a pretty easy thing to do, after all.

Oh, and by the way, people on this very forum have strongly insisted that people who don't hear about your god have to go to hell. And I've heard that exact thing preached countless times by Christians. Plus, the New Testament seems pretty damned clear about its formula for salvalation. Either accept that horrible, sadist-inspired blood sacrifice for breaking RIDICULOUS, arbitrary rules or burn in torturous flames forever.
