To an extent, you share in the guilt

Muslims all share somewhat in the guilt of the depradations of the Taliban and al-Qaeda. Just like the Germans will always share a national guilt over what the Nazis did. As long as people of hate and ill-will infest your religion, and NO ONE speaks out against it in the strongest possible terms, you will always have some guilt by association. Straighten out thine own house before you try to remake the entire world. Why? Because they ACT in your name. They justify their hatred and bigotry with an "All Christians...." statement. Because you people NEVER publicly disavaow or repudiate what the extremists say and do. If you don't oppose them, then as far as the rest of enlightened society is concerned, you're in league with them. Incidentally, I'm not an atheist, I'm an Episcopalian. Perry Mason, Esq. |
