Libraries do have strict sensors on what can & can't be viewed on their screens. Chatrooms, gambling, porn, etc are just some of the restrictions in place. Because the terminals are used by children as well, safety nets have been installed across the UK to detect & prevent certain material from being downloaded to the console. There are also free to use & access and can be booked for periods of 30 mins & up to 2 hours depending on which county in the UK & library you go to. There are also various Internet cafe's across the Uk which allow limited or Unlimited viewing access to a paying audience, but do be careful with these places. |
