There are many, many things in this world that are not part of God's perfect plan. He does not always choose to miraculously change things to suit His perfect plan, but often chooses to work thru or around them. If everything was exactly how God would want it, there would be no sin in the world. But part of the result of Him giving us free will is that there is imperfection. I don't claim to know everything that is and is not in God's perfect plan. But it doesn't seem logical to me that God would want us to have a yearning and attraction to something we should not have. This is just my opinion and how I define dysfunctional. I don't mean to imply that God is not still in control. He is. And His ultimate purpose will still be accomplished in the world.......and also in our lives if we let Him. Dakota |
