After having a good conversation with a friend of mine on this issue, I no longer see it as a bad thing that support groups and accountibility circles be promoted for those who need it. What mostly bothered me was that everything seemed to focus on these groups and it made us look like people who are in desparate need of help, when in reality some of us are perfectly content. But I now see the benefit of providing that for those who need it (though speaking from a personal perspective, I dont think a support group wouldve helped me at all unless it were composed of other bl's). However I do disagree with your statement that boylovers are dysfunctional. If you do not believe that God's plan for you includes being a BL, then you must believe that God will change you so that you will be able to fulfill his perfect plan. I dont feel that is the case, I feel his plan for us includes this side of who we are. This does not mean we should pursue sexual relations, but it does mean we are this way and continue being this way even after seeking otherwise (I think its safe to assume most of us at one point wanted to change) because it is part of God's plan, if it werent then we wouldnt be this way period. I dont see where your reasoning that it is somehow not God's plan comes from.

love,
Drifter
