Authority is not absolute. Using the US system as an example, legislators have authority to create laws. That does not mean their authority is absolute and no one else has authority to say otherwise. The president has authority to veto those laws. Authority is not absolute. By the same token, we all have authority to walk into a public area, but if that area is currently a crime scene under investigation, then the law has authority which supersedes yours to prevent you from going in that area. Thus your logic is flawed because it is based on the false premise that authority is absolute. You have authority over your body, you do not have authority to use illegal drugs, abuse prescription drugs, commit suicide, have sex with children, etc. because someone else was given authority that supersedes yours in certain areas. That verse you chose to use says that it was God who granted that authority to the government. Begin again with a logic that is more sound and perhaps youll have a sound argument.
