I cannot speak for all, but as for me I think it ususally starts as boylust but turns into boylove. I have a friend, my best friend actually, when I first met him I was dating his sister. He was only 9 at the time, I was 18 and I fell head over heels for him. At that point in my life I thought that I was gay and that was why I was attracted to him, I had not heard of bl. I spent a lot of time with him and our relationship grew, nothing sexual. Although I donot have the sexual feelings for him that I used to have, I still love him and he loves me. He is now 27, married and we are still part of each others lives. He was the bestman at my wedding, which has now ended. I have had other boys in my life they all started the same way. They are all grown except for the one that I am mentoring now. So in conclusion I have to disagree with your view on this subject. Love in Christ, drew |
