As I have grown in Christ (I know that sounds funny comming from a 23 year old, but keep in mind, I was saved at 7) I have come to find out that it's more about a personal relationship with Christ. You don't even need the Bible to tell you something is wrong, if you are close to Him, you will know in your heart.

Does that mean that you won't do it? No. Paul wrote in Romans

For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 7:14

Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
7:17

It is quite obvious that, even as Christians, we will sin. But we are under Grace and not the Law. One might say, well that means that if you are saved, you can live however you want. This is not so. If you are truly saved, yes you will sin, but you will not enjoy it. The more you sin, the more your soul will be tormented.

Sin leads to spiritual death for those whom are not saved, sin leads to physical death for those whom are.

I have witnessed many Christians whom, by other's standards, have fallen, however I could see God working in their lives. The more they resisted Him, the closer to death they creeped.

I believe a famous case of this was Tupac. From his lyrics I could tell he had faith in God and Jesus, but I could also tell he was struggling with his worldly (thug) desires. I think God gave him a wake up call when he was first shot 5 times and survived. He still continued in his life and he did not survive the second time.

I am not God, and it is not my place to judge, however, I would venture to guess Pac is upstairs.
