Hi WP,

Mormons use the KJV version of the Bible, but they esteem highly the JST (Joseph Smith Translation), which their founder Joseph Smith wrote, adding and deleting from the KJV wherever it didn't jive with his own theology. The first six chapters of this re-written Genesis are canonized by the Mormons in The Book of Moses which is part of The Pearl of Great Price. Other Mormon scripture includes The Book of Mormon and The Doctrine of Covenants. The main theological point of Mormonism is the existance of many gods (the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are three of them) and that by obedience to the Mormon gospel, humans may become gods and goddesses themselves.

JW's use the NWT version of the Bible (New World Translation) that was prepared by JW 'scholars' who deliberately mistranslated many passages to strip Jesus of His identity as Yahweh (Jehovah) God. One of the main points in JW theology is the belief that Jesus is not God, but a being created by God.

Hope this helps answer your question(s).

In Christ,
J

Come away, O human child,
to the waters of the wild,
with a fairy hand in hand,
for the world’s more full of weeping
than you can understand.
