My thoughts on the movie

| I didnt like this movie personally, not because it was a bad movie but because I feel like they didnt market it properly. I went to the theater expecting to see a movie about an alien invasion, what I saw instead was a movie about a man coming to terms with the death of his wife, and realizing that God had always been in control. If I had gone to the theater expecting to see that type of movie, I probably wouldve thought it was a great film. It certainly had all of the elements of a good drama. I simply didnt like it because I expected something entirely different. The alien invasion was simply part of the setting, it wasnt what the movie was about. So, for those of you who havent seen the film, go watch it, but keep in mind this isnt about an alien invasion, the alien invasion is simply part of the setting. It is a christian movie about a man finding his lost faith, and if you go to the theater expecting to see that, perhaps you will think its a great film. |
