| To have gone as far as naming him as a beneficiary on your life insurance really does sound weird; whatever the purity of your motives, you may have passed the point that she is comfortable with. You've basically got two strategies - let it cool a bit and see if things resolve themselves - or go in and talk to her - perhaps making some agreement that you only spend time with him to tutor him for a bit. But you need to be on her side, and try and resist allying yourself with him.... Not easy. |
