not all sins are bad things. I completely disagree with that. God does not simply make rules for the heck of them. I have homosexual friends and from a non-spiritual point of view, they couldn't be better off. I can tell, however that their relationship with God, suffers. The reason it is wrong, is because it IS a perversion. It may sound bad to say that, but that is what it is. We have taken what God has given us, and turned it into something different. The reason that homosexuals have those relationships is not because they are perverts though. They have something missing in their lifes. Typically a positive father figure. They seek out what they are missing by sexual relationships with other men. Of course, they cannot see that that is what they are doing. In their mind, they are pursuing love. I can just as easily fall into the same trap. If I start dwelling on my feelings toward my yf, I could convince myself that it is perfectly ok to engage in sexual activity with him. We can't tell the difference on our own, only through God can we know what is right. RF |
