Ignoring the spiritual aspect for now, if you are in the US, then, most likely, 17 is underage. If that is the case, the person you are talking to, on the other side of the screen, is a police officer. Now, as for the spiritual aspect, men are tempted all the time to cheat on their wife, and break their vow to God. God promised not to allow us to be tested beyond our limits.
