On nudism, and nothing more

Personally, I find it an intriguing subject. Now, I'm not really addressing your situation Maverick, more or less, I'm just addressing the nudity question in general terms: Yes, Adam and Eve were meant to walk in the buff. Their sins was the only reason they were ashamed of their nudity. Now, should we try to get that innocence back? I don't think we can. I think we are too flawed to even try. There are nudist colonies, there are people in European nations, as well as many others who go to nude beaches, ect. They all seem fine, right? I have my doubts though. Now, I can completely understand how my vision is skewed. I grew up in a society that finds it proper to be clothed. Therefore, when I see a nude woman (or boy, for that matter) I am prone to having thoughts and desires that I shouldn't. But why are those desires wrong? You ask. Because of where they lead to. Why even start down that path? This is a point well asserted in the Bible. So, are those nudist colonies all "SINNERS"? I don't believe so, but I do know a few "nudists", and I believe they try to convince themselves that it is all innocent, but I can see through them. It is voyerism, but they try to mask it. They even do it with their whole family, to try to further prove to themselves that it is all perfectly innocent. However, I since a deep, hidden reason for all of it. However, there are exceptions. There are gender based environments in which I am sure no ill desires take place, such as, locker rooms, ect. But to make it a lifestyle? Something smells funny. I mean, I have no doubt that, technically, you could truly have a perfectly innocent nudist colony, but I just don't see that happening in real life. Alas, I can only speak for myself. If someone can function in a nudist environment and truly have no problem with keeping his/her thoughts in check, and have nothing but a completely innocent mind about it, then I guess, there is nothing wrong with it. I just doubt that can happen. Oh, and of course, those whom I know that are nudists will argue to the ends of the earth with me on this. As I said, they have convinced themselves. So, as with all things, it is not impure, in and of itself, it is what results from it, that I believe is. Another point, the issue of comfort. Now, I know that lounging around in briefs or boxers is about as comfortable as it gets, and I see nothing wrong with doing so, in a family invironment. However, I fail to see how being completely nude is any more comfortable. No support, can be a bit breezy, and nothing but impeccable hygiene can be safe for furniture (hehe). So, one should ask themselves, why would I rather be completely buff, when it's actually more convenient to, at least, have underwear on. Is there another reason behind it? Ok, I'll stop rambling on now.... |
