It is guys like you that push more folks into losing their faith. Those never had faith in the first place, if they are willing to stop following God, just because they can't pursue their wordly desires. I am part of no church. I am quite liberal in my beliefs if you were to know them. But I do not go so far as to blatantly throw away the Bible, and ignore the obvious truths. I know what it is like to have desires that go against what the Bible teaches. I choose not to make excuses and manipulate God's truth into my own personal truth, so as to accommodate my selfish desires. I know, not just through reading, but in my heart that marriage is the only institution in which sex is righteous. The dilemma is that my desires (boys) and God's design (man and woman) don't exactly go together. One of us is wrong. I can easily tell you that it must be ME that is wrong, and not God. His original plan is the only holy path. A man was meant for a woman. Logic tells us this, our spirit tells us this, and God's word tells us this. In Christ, RF |
