You keep blaming God for why so many lose their faith. It isn't God's fault. It is the small minded so-called goodly persons like you who do that. For example, I must have heard a thousand times from many Protestants that the Bible condemns Catholics. I know that God welcomes us all into the Kingdom of Heaven regardless of our faith. That claim and other lies drove me and I know others from attending church. Many that stopped attending church squarely blame the self-righteous attitudes of their fellow parishioners as why they stopped attending church. That slef-righteous attitude does not serve God. You claim the Bible condemns homosexuals. Yet the archbishop of Canterbury like so many other learned religious leaders strongly disagrees. Of course I agree with the Archbishop. By the way, I have read many of your posts and I must say I know liberals and you are no liberal. Stop flattering yourself. I have noticed that you avoid discussing Catholics. Am I to assume you also feel that they practice a faith less respected than Protestants by God? I do admit that I disagree with much of that Church. Like most Protestants, the Pope, confession, the multitude of Saints, worshipping Mary, as the Mother of God, etc is things I reject. But I do respect Catholics and feel that they are as worthy as any Protestant to enter Heaven. Do you? |
