Unless you somehow obtained the child's parent's permission (not likely), then you are teaching him to ignore those in authority and do what feels right. Your teaching him to disrespect his parents and ignore the law. Not very good lessons for a role model to teach someone who looks up to him. Your asking him to keep a big secret. Basically, you are asking him to live like a criminal (ignore authority, break the law, keep it secret, etc) and teaching him that such a lifestyle is perfectly fine as long as your motivations were good. Also, you might want to read the following true account of an adult who was once a loved boy and what that has caused him. Here is an excerpt from the interview: "The person who [sexually abused] me was a great, nice person who was my hero and loved me to death. Now I look back and realize he was a complete pedophile. I willingly accepted it because he was the only person who gave me any attention."
