Hi Again, I had an opportunity to speak with my friend Andy last night, and we had quite a discussion about this, my latest post. As a result of that, I must make this addition to what I have posted about my YF. I was wrong. Yes this is a blanket statement made with but three words, but let me qualify my words, ok? While I do indeed care very deeply about my youngest buddy, I love him, in fact. And I can be passionate about the love I feel for friends, young or not. But quit often I tend to use that passion as an excuse to do some things which are probably not right. Although my heart is in the right place, my actions are not always well thought out. And sometimes I might think things out alright, but choose wrongly by way of my passion-felt love as an excuse. Perhaps my latest post about my YF is a combination of both tendancies....it probably is. I was wrong to take it upon myself to enquire about that woman's son to someone without first asking her permission. And I was either wrong to write about it here in the forum, or at least it was in fairly bad taste to do so. I am still thinking about that one because the request for prayer is most definately NOT wrong, not when prayer is so badly needed, as in this case. At any rate, I must appologise to the boy's mom. But first I appologise in here for any kind of wrong-doing which is attatched to my post. While my heart is right, I must still be more responsible for my actions. Love in Christ Jesus, Chris P.S. Had it not been for this forum, that kind of councel would not have happened because it would not have been possible! |
