Greetings, dude. Reading your letter brings me back a few years, when I was in your position. It is an extremely difficult time, and society's attitude toward you doesn't help much. It just makes it worse. You know, I've no doubt that most of us in this group have all been through the same thing, and have all felt at some point that God hates us because of what we are. However, those thoughts are lies from the pit of hell. You know that you can go through stages in early teens, and virtually everybody has a homosexual thought at some time. While I hoped that this was the case for me, I ask you not to give up on that possibility, dude. However, if this is not a stage, then God made you this way for a reason. It is not what you are that makes you evil, but what you do about it. True, self control sometimes is nearly impossible, especially when you are young... but then again, that's what teenage years are for - learning to control yourself. Dude, I know that you may think that God hates you, because he burned down Sodom and the other place (can't remember the spelling), and he condemns homosexuality throughout the bible. However, while you may have these urges, please know that God did give us the ability to choose whether to follow our thoughts or not. If you fail, then you will know by the feeling in your soul, that it is not pleasing to God, and that is why God sent Jesus to us. Every person in the world desrves to go to hell, simply because we are evil (this is true). You see, in God's eyes, he doesn't judge sin by saying, "Oh, you just told a lie, well that's fine... but Oh, MY DOGLET! You're a homo! Get down to hell, faggot!" No, you see, to God, a sin is a sin, whatever it is. All sins, whether they are lies, or rape, bring you further away from God. Now that I've finnished proclaiming doom and gloom, there is a ray of sunshine in this storm - Forgivness. If you are truely sorry for your actions, dude, and you tell God that you are sorry, then he will forgive you. No matter how many times you fail at the same sin, as long as you are sincerely trying to be better than before. It is a difficult road, my friend, but you are not alone. Just remember that God is with you, and he understands you better than anyone else. On the human side, I can tell you that if you stay strong, then you will find it easier and easier to control yourself. It may be years, and it may be days. But ask God to show you what he wants you to do, and you will see his purpose for you. Keep in mind that the difficulties that you are going through right now are preparing you for later. God has called you to an important position in the life of other boys, but first he is training you. Keep well, dude. Write back if you feel like it, and we'll always be here for you.
