| "Scriptures" to me also mean scriptures from Nag Hammadi. "Flesh," in its proper context, even with respect to BL, is not "sinful," IMO, and, as I alluded in my previous post, CARITAS, IN ADDITION TO "alleviating suffering," is the premise of BL. It's the same quality of intent of saying of love between a man and woman, "There must be caring and compassion between them and yet, at the same time, such a union is ALSO a vehicle of procreation." So the "using" suggested with respect to BL is simply the opposite, diametrical expression of the Genesis-era "use" of man-woman love as a medium of (over-)populating the planet. But I would say such "using" WITHOUT CARITAS is "wrong," just as such using of a heterosexual union to make babies without love between the couple is "wrong." |
