I would agree with you. the BL story is a much more dynamic story. Totally out of left field for general society. But it's not where my heart lays. My heart wants to tell the story of a weak person who has gone through abuse and abuses himself. I want to answer the questions of 'why this happens' to both the audience, and to myself.
