Hey guys -
Thanks for continuing the post but you got off the topic so much that I'm not sure if I understand the points.

I can certainly agree with the fact that sexuality and sexual appetite can not only take time away from serving God, I also believe that when the animal drive possesses us, we are bound to leap before we look, sometimes leaving God's intentions behind us. I accept this explanation for Paul's statement.

What I am really driving at though, is that my sexual "outlet" as a boylover, instead of being loveless sex with women is "self-gratification". Such an outlet seems to me to be something that every man does anyways and also seems to be something that is not spoken against in the bible. I do not believe that God made me a boylover and expected me to not fantasize about boys or to somehow become asexual by willing it to happen. I also CANNOT believe that, with all of the blessings in my recent life, God planned all along for me to end up on the floor of a jail cell, destined for eternal damnation. If my "outlet" keeps me celibate, relative to boys, do you interpret it as being acceptable to God?

THAT is the question :)

You are not alone.

Ben

PS - LOVE that passage from Corinthians about love.
