>or turning from God BECAUSE I sin, I find myself turning TO God because I sin. The "oh my God what have I done" moments are the ones that find me closest to God. Running back to God DOES help reduce the frequency of sin in my life (but has yet to eliminate it, and I doubt it ever will). Incidently, some of my sins against God are also sins against my fellow man or against myself, and I've found that as my sin against God goes down, so do the other two categories. Everyone wins. [I think it was you who said being a Boylover turned you onto God, when I mentioned that in so many cases Christian's reactions to sexual issues turned so many BC/#bl/#bcfriends people AWAY from God.] -d (david_tx on IRC) |
