I was going to make some post about the place of justice and capital punishment (do you consider that to be murder?) But I won't because I believe you're asking a different question. Does God get his jollies out of purposely killing innocent women and children? No, I truly don't believe he does. I think he just as angry over the meaningless murder of your two beloveds as you are, if you will excuse the clichéd expression. It's not something he ever wanted. Would you like me to prove that biblically? How to cope with pain and the waste of pointless death is something I don't think I know very well. I'm a callous bastard, if I hear someone died my first reaction is to shrug my shoulders and say "oh well, life goes on". I need to get over this, need to learn how to appreciate other's pain better. I want you to know I feel for the loss of your dear ones, the pain of whose passing you're feeling particularly strongly at the moment. I'm sorry you had to go through that. In love, F.O.D. |
