True Christians

Um . . . well, I hate to tell you, but by the standards of my husband's denomination, neither of us Protestants are members of the Church (he's a Catholic). Nor are we really, truly Christians in the eyes of the Eastern Orthodox. So, according to the denominations that make up two-thirds of the world's Christians, neither of us is following Christ the way he meant for us to do. That's why I find these "What does it mean to be Christian" questions awfully hard to answer. Coincidentally, though, I started a thread on this subject at RDC; I'd be interested in your thoughts on it. Heather |
