Heather -
I've been part of the BL community almost since the inception of boychat. It seems that the practicing Christians are a large minority. Furthermore, to count lukewarm Christian's and people who are actively leading gay lives as Christians, begs the question: "What does it mean to be Christian" It would seem that a Christian is one who follows Christ, and it doesn't seem that Christ gave alot of leeway about being gay. I'm not saying that I, 100 percent conclude that you cannot live a life in Christ and be actively homosexual, I'm just saying that I don't see alot of compelling evidence in that direction.

I do agree with you about the third alternative for gay (and BL) Christians. After all, it is the choice that I have made for my own life (to be a celibate BL). I do have as a hope that God will help me to draw closer to leading a straight life, mostly because I feel that I can do more in the world as a married man, and because I strongly believe that I was meant to be a father. Certainly, I continue to struggle with impurity and masterbation on a regular basis, but with God's help I hope that this struggle can become less and less a part of my life.

You are not alone.
