May I remind you, Jim, that you are a non-Christian posting on a Christian board? How do you warrant the position of being worthy of "defense" from the Christians here since the majority of the posts you make are in opposition to their beliefs? "Loving one another" is one thing, but defending someone who is in total opposition to your beliefs (in fact, often blatantly criticizes your beliefs) is just plain stupid. Consider, if you will, that you--on this board--are in the position of a CA at BC. Do people defend you, despite your total opposition to the beliefs of the BC posters, or do they just stand back and let you rage because there is nothing they can do about it? Or do they argue with you simply because they are offended? Personally, on this board, I see the lack of defense of your position as being a sign of respect. They may not agree with what you say but they are not willing to contradict your beliefs either out of respect for your right to have them. But that's just my opinion. Love |
