This pain I feel comes from my own mistakes. The constant decision to mess up destroys me. I feel myself fading away. What is this I do? What is this I am? If for some reason God would choose to have mercy on me, then there is hope. For in His Son all sin was placed, so why do I feel this way? But even feeling this way, I have lifted up my voice to God in hope that He would hear. That He would not turn His ear away from me, but in mercy He would forgive and forget. That He would come in power and help me, making what I have asked Him, come to be. |
