I know that the "behavioural expectations" of the O'dox Church are quite conservative, but I haven't done much reading on gender and sexuality issues. Coming from a Bible college where the defining issue was Calvinism vs. Arminianism, my entry point into O'dox theology was the doctrine of sin, which led to anthropology, and then to trinitarian theology. That's where I'm still doing most of my reading and thinking. As you say, the perspective is quite different from most Western churches. Dirk |
