Now that we are getting closer and closer to the new milenium, there are a few things on my mind. Alot of people believe that the world will end in 2000. I'm not so sure. I mean, does God know when Janurary 1,2000 is? Does he have his watch set for midnight on new years night? If he does, what time zone is he in? Man invented the concept of time, man invented the calander. All we can do is watch the clock run down. God will end this world when he thinks it is time, not because Mickey Mouse's hands are on the 12. Until he does see fit to send his Son to take us home, we sould just be ourselves. We shouldn't worry about when it will end, because eternity has no End, it has no beginning. Eternity includes life and all that came before it or comes after it. So be what you are. Be the best you can be at what you are. Don't seek mankinds inventions to let you know when it is time to repent, or to start believing in God. Love him now, let him into your heart now. Because if he does watch the clock, surely the time zones will confuse you anyway. |
