Hi, Chris.

I appreciate your work, and I hope that I can provide a bit of a supplement to it. You wrote:

When we accept Jesus into our hearts and lives, we become children of the living God. And because of this, God looks at us in a whole diferent way, He looks at us like a loving father would look at his child.

I think that there's biblical evidence to suggest that the change when we accept Christ isn't in the way God looks at us, it's the way we look at God. After all, in Romans 5:8 it says that "God shows his love for us in this, that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." And in 2 Peter 3:9, we read that God is not willing that any should perish.

Of course, we know that some will. However, if God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, I think it's fair to say that he loves all of humanity as his own. The Gospel is the good news that Christ's atoning death on the Cross has reconciled humanity to God, but it's also the good news that God has always loved us. Our responsibility as Christians is to tell people they have nothing to fear from God, if they accept him as Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dirk
