Chris and EM -
You guys hit on the eternal question that I battle in my life. Because I have always been more of a voyeur of boys than one who was ever tempted to actually DO something sexual (though there were times when it certainly would have seemed nice), the only battle that I really face is the battle of dreaming about boys and masterbating.

If Jesus told men not to look at a woman in lust, and if Paul repeatedly insisted that men remain 'pure', and that men who were 'inflamed with lust for each other' would not go to heaven, how can it be okay for us to have impure thoughts about boys?

The only solution that I could possibly come up with is that God accepts for men to lust after boys (as long as they don't actually perform homosexual acts) even though he wont let anyone lust for anyone else besides adults for their spouses. The likelihood of this exception to purity rules is unlikely. But it is not impossible.

On a more pragmatic level guys, I do not agree that your thoughts are beyond your own control. While you certainly will be tempted (as am I) to dream about boys in a sexy way (as DO I), you DO have a choice to change the subject in your own head. With God's help, any change is possible. Satan works wonders on us by leading us to believe that we cannot change the things that entangle us. It just isn't true. Finally, I have to say that, in working hard to deny myself the free rain of sexual thoughts about boys that I have always had, there has emerged a childlike purity in my heart that I never recognized before. I even find myself noticing women a bit.....:)

You are not alone.

Ben
