Adultery???

I have a question which is seemingly out of context in this board but it has been gnawing at me for a long time now. It may had already been brought up..I am not sure..but I will ask it anyway. The LORD JESUS said that if a man divorces his wife (for any reason other than unfaithfulness) and marries another, then he commits adultery and if his ex-wife marries someone else, she commits adultery or something. Now..if that be the case, and I would discourage others from trying to rationalize this...doesnt that mean that a good number of people in America (or anywhere else for that matter) are living in adultery. The Bible says that adulterers will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven so.... Anyway, just wondering what you guys think...It may not sound as if its related to homosexuality, but it could be...:) My 2 sheckels, JG |
