Blue, I am so sorry your having a rough time of it right now. I agree w/you, I don't think looking for a place or group to be around boys is the answer. Unless you want to test yourself that way? I know what you mean about church. I'm kinda going thru something similar in that respect. I haven't been to church in awhile for alot of reasons. 1. I saw the true colors of alot of the people there. Our Pastor was run off by several of these elderly people, & its just not been the same since him and his family left. 2. my husband will not go to church w/us, & I hate going by myself but I go for the sake of my kids and it is better for me that I go in the long run. 3. I'm feeling that I'm supposed to be somewhere else I think and haven't found that place yet. Think about your job, do you want a different job? Could you go back to school to learn to do anything else? One thing I have learned is to let God lead me in all I do. I'm not just saying that either. I said I'd never play the lottery again until God lead me to do it, lol. I also said I'd never apply for another job until God lead me to do it, and just so happened that my husband's Grandmother's church (she passed away few years ago) just built a new building and is opening up a new daycare and they are hiring....so guess who applied?? :o)I haven't worked in years. What I'm trying to say is that God truely does answer prayers, sometimes we get so caught up in our own emotions that we just don't let ourselves pray like we should. I am guilty of this as well, gosh you guys are really getting to see some of me huh? *G* Sometimes it gets hard to walk the road that God has put us on and be patient enough to see what He has in store for us. But you can have victory thru Jesus Christ. Nothing is too hard for Him to handle or to help us with. You did the hardest part already believe it or not, by making the decision a long time ago to become a Christian. Atleast to me that is a hard decision. I will pray for ya and I hope that you'll be praying for yourself. I hope you dont' mind that I read that and posted back to you, thank you for being so open and humble. |
