There is alot of poetry in the Bible, there are alot of stories in the bible, its amazing to me that the Bible contains so many of these things that are relevent to the lives we live today. The same things that occur in our world today happened back then only on different levels maybe? I guess that is an ok comparison, that you made. B/c we all say that a loved one will live on in us , just as we carry the Holy Spirit with us day by day. The only difference being the importance of one being greater.And I know that if my husband died today, his spirit would live on w/me, I'd carry his love and his memory with me but it would still be different b/c I let the Holy Spirit help guide me etc. Oh, and Jesus was speaking for the Father while here on earth, learning to be able to see them as one being is hard to get used to , at times it is hard for me too, and confusing. |
