Hi Dirk, Michelangelo took a flawed piece of marble, and carved the beautiful statue of David which is admired the world over. True, as he stated, the statue was always there; all he did was to uncover it. But, wouldn't you have to say that Micelangelo created this exquisite sculpture? His very being went into creating it, and it can be felt by the observer whenever it is viewed. When the Bible tells us that Jesus is God's "begotten" son, to me it simply means that He is a continuation of God, the same as children are a continuation of their father and mother. Why did Jesus say that some things were not revealed to Him, but known only to the Father? Andy |
