Hi Scott, I have a few thoughts about your post. First, maybe you do not need to worry too much about whether you can support him or not. I assumed you were talking about supporting him financially. If that is the case, I think it would be a great idea if he got a part-time job. If he wants to live with you, it only seems fair that he would be willing to pay his way. I hope I do not sound harsh, but I think it would do him a world of good to be making his own way. Since you said he is "almost" legal, then it would be good for him to NOT depend on you for everything. The best thing you can do for him is to help him stand on his own two feet. About your girlfriend...only God knows what His plan is for you. It may include your girlfriend and it may not. Continue to seek His wisdom and He will not let you down. Hopefully you will get the answers you are seeking. She seems like a very understanding, compassionate person and I know that no matter what happens between the two of you, she will more than likely always remain a dear friend that you can count on and who will be in your corner. Scott, I am sick right now and I confess that I cannot really think too clearly or keep my attention to any one thing for too long, but I promise you that I want to be your friend and I want the best for you.
