I don't believe it's all in the genes. Socialisation and crucial experiences can also make you a BL. It's like with "intelligence". You are born with a certain capability to reach an IQ range, I guess. One from 60 to 120, one from 90 to 150. But it depends how you develop it. The former may well turn out to be a 120, the latter a 90.
