Hi Heather,

While I was reading the three accounts you wrote about, one thing kept going through my head. Heather, I think you should just take a moment and "step back" and look at the kind of position you are in. I would say it is fairly unique. The very fact that a heterosexual, Christian woman would be doing what you are doing (being an advocate for boylovers) is incredible! But what realy stands out is, with a little imagination, one can see all kinds of possible problems happening that could very well be quite unique to your position. I'm not saying that, because it is unique, you have no moral obligation, I'm saying that it could be very, very dificult to make a moral call on some things.

Heather, I guess my bet advise for you is going to be to trust God!!! The way I see it, God has put you in this position for a VERY good reason...but His OWN, very good reason. He knows the kind of problems he has made for you by doing this, He will have a good answer for you as well. Trust Him, friend, because He has put a LOT of trust and faith in you. He needs a Heather to be doing His good work in this area (of THAT I am convinced absoluutely). And so, read your Bible...when God puts people, His children, to a task that is unique, He ALWAYS provides for them. Look at the story of Moses. That man could not have been any WORSE prepared for the task God gave him. He was no "leader of men", he even had difficulty speaking in public. But because God needed Moses (for God's own very good reason) to take His childen out of Egypt, He ha to put Moses in a really weird position in life. But He was ALWAYS with Moses to enable him to do His will...which Moses did without question.

Have faith, Heather, because it is NOT going to be easy. And yes, you might even make some mistakes along the way....at lest they might lok like mistakes to you. I firmly believe that you are doing God's work in your life, so trust Him to take even the situations or incidents that seem like mistakes (moral or otherwise), and turn them into something great. Remember, YOU might not see the whole picture of what is going on, but rest assured, GOD does! He hardly ever feels it nessisary to tell us every single detail about everything, but He will always provide the strenght, faith, and wisdom you will need to do it.

So, try to take it easy on yourself, ok? And trust in Him! He will provide for you, Heather, He will! I guess you are probably going to have to go by "gut feeling" in a few situations, but trust God to give you the right "gut feeling". And He will, too. For what it is worth, I have a LOT of faith in you and in what you are doing, because I can see that it has come from God! God Bless, Heather, you are in my prayers. I hope this has helped you a little.

Love,
Chris
