But the hard bit these days is the BL component - it is OK to be gay, but a BL!! I got accidentally outed as gay a few weeks ago in my house group - the leader forgot that I prefer the closet and parallelled me to an openly gay member of the group (non practicing). He was very apologetic afterwards and all those involved have been asked to keep it confidential - but only some of the members know. Is that fair? Also to describe myself as 'gay' is misleading - and arguably unfair to the Gay community that likes to disassociate itself from our far more questionable activities... Just a thought We'll watch developments with interest and I'll keep you updated on my progress with my group (there are others, including the leaders whoknow all about where I'm coming from). |
