Since when did Eternal Salvation come under the jurisdiction of the Police Department? Has Jesus been notified of these changes in Policy? Salvation comes from repentence, as you said. Why are you confusing God's grace with man's law? King David slept with someone's wife. Is he not a Christian? St. Paul sought to kill Christians. Is he not a Christian? To put it another way, if the law said it was perfectly OK to have sex with a child (as it does in many countries - age 12 in Spain, age 14 in Canada), does that mean a person's salvation would not be in danger for sleeping with a child? According to your argument, if that man is in Spain sleeping with the 12yo, he can sleep content knowing his salvation is fully secure, but if he happened to be in England with an age of consent of 16, he should be sweating blood from the fires of hell. Doesn't that sound just a little inconsistent to you? The laws of man are not the laws of God. Never NEVER confuse the two. F.O.D. |
