Boylovers Bible

Hello my boyloving faithful As I am sitting here contemplating life, and all it's meanings I find myself once again sub-consciously ending up on my most beloved website. Tonite as I strolled through a local park, admiring the beauty of God's most beautiful creation, the boy, I thought to myself "We need a new Bible. " This Bible of ours is just outdated, and irrelevant for the most part. I need a Bible that speaks to me about boylove, like a feminist wants a Bible that speaks about women, and so on. Take out the gospels, psalms, and proverbs, and an occasional lne from the other books and what do you have? A has been tribal faith, that wanted nothing more than their Lord to smite their enemies, and increase their sheep. The first half of the book of chronicles explaining the offspring of children is less than spiritually nourishing for me. Also the constant no-name prophets who claim "the end is near" really hold no relevance. I am a Roman Catholic, college student, and boylover. I am 19, and one of few 19 year olds that takes his faith with an iota of seriousness. I can understand why others don't get anything out of their spiritual book. The Jewish people also suffer from the same "irrelevance" of the Torah. We have scholars, anthrop[olgists, and scientists who have so destroyed the Bible that it is a leap of faith to believe one passage. As I was sitting in that park telling God my opinion he did not answer me. We have a verbally silent God, and one that requires much patience. But we definantley do have a God that hears our prayers, I believe that. What is the future of our faith? I do not know. God is an interesting being, and it is difficult to come to terms with the idea that this God who loves us so much, also lets us suffer. But he does. There are alkways people who are looking toward a revelational-type end time, but I am a follower more along the lines of "the kingdom of heaven is within." I believe that, and we just must find it. I think we can find our new Bible, and our little boy there. I asked God tonite if I would rather have God or a boy, and my answer came almost from another source "they are one in the same."
